Hey guys! After a few days in Paris visiting my family I'm back in New York and ready to keep sharing my outfits with you! I now summer's basically over but I have one last summery outfit to show you. You can keep this in mind for later, when this collection gets to stores. 

This outfit is quite simple but both pieces are very cute. The Freja sleeveless blouse is a piece you can wear with so many different things, it's great for summer but you can also wear it when it gets colder with a cardigan, it'll brighten up your winter outfit! You can see the Jess shorts again which I love. I don't think I've showed them to you guys in the denim blue yet, hope you like it. The combination of both pieces makes a perfect summer outfit for the beach. Don't forget about this it'll be in stores sooner than you know! Time flies ..

J.Lindeberg Spring/Summer 2013 Presentation

We attended the J.Lindeberg presentation at Pier 59. The collection looked great. As the brand is originally from Sweden, the Spring 2013 collection's theme is based on the idea of viewing the Scandinavian landscape by air. This idea is also mixed with a motorcycle vibe with many biker jackets. Also, tailoring has become an important part of the Lindeberg business. This entire collection combining different ideas is really interesting which will definitely make it successful, we were glad to be invited to the presentation!

Gant by Michael Bastian SS13 Presentation

We just got back from the Gant by Michael Bastian presentation. It was really cool, much more interesting than a regular catwalk show!  Between music, cocktails and interacting models; it was awesome! We also got a chance to meet the Jonas Brothers which was pretty fun.

The theme of the Spring/Summer 13 collection is based on Charles Darwin’s studies of the Galapagos Islands. The Gant man and woman are modern explorers retracing Darwin’s footsteps.

Check out my outfit number 8. The Linn zip sweater is really cool,it has zippers both in the front and back which is pretty unusual. It's also available in black. As the fit is quite large it looks good with tight pants like the light blue slim fit jeans I chose to wear it with. The combination of both pieces creates a trendy day outfit, best warn at the end of the summer/beginning of fall when it starts getting a little chilly, basically right now in NYC!

Project Runway Hits NYFW

This past Friday we were among the group of lucky fashion-addicts who were able to experience the Project Runway fashion show at the NYFW tents at Lincoln Center.

The hour long show debuted collections from the remaining 8 contestants on the award winning shows' current season. Attendees included reining supermodel host Heidi Klum and industry all-stars; Michael Kors and Nina Garcia. Celebrity guest judge was Billboard chat topper Jennifer Hudson.

The shows season finally will air on October 18th.

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great Labor Day Weekend and are ready for my next outfit! 

You can see the Alva sweater again, that I wore in orange in outfit number 6. The light green is really nice, also brightens up an outfit. Perfect piece for the fall, when it gets a little cold but you want to keep wearing summer colors! 

The dip dye slim fit jean is just awesome! The wash is really cool, the fabric feels great and stretchy. All of our denim’s fabric has become much better now that we started denim production in Portugal. Hope you guys are looking forward to seeing all this in stores!!

I know it’s been a while since I shared an outfit with you, we’ve been pretty busy but I still have things to show you!! So here comes outfit number 6. 

This is a really trendy/cool day outfit. You’ve seen those shorts before; they’ve been named after me and are now Jess shorts! The Alva sweater has a simple cut, its fitted and gives a nice figure. Orange is a great color to brighten up a look. The Ronja black jacket gives more of a biker look to the outfit, it’s not too warm which is good for the summer/spring especially if it’s a chilly day. Wear this outfit with biker boots and you will look great for a typical day in the city!

Outfit number 5 here we go!Another great bold color piece! The Leah pants are very comfortable; look really cool worn with heels. The pants are obviously what make the outfit special and I think they look the best with only a simple tank. This look is pretty casual but still classy with heels. Perfect to wear during a sunny day in the city and can totally be taken into the night!

The NBA comes to d.brand!!

Check this out! Per, d.brand US president, hanging out with Danthay Jones from the Dallas Mavericks and Gary Forbes from the Houston Rockets. Both NBA players came to the showroom and got some pieces from the last collection! D.brand looks great on them … we’re proud to have them as our brand ambassadors!

There goes outfit number 4! You can see the wide leg jeans again; I think they’re great in yellow! As I told you before, always wear those with heels!

The tucked in Agnes white blouse gives a classy touch to the outfit. It’s very similar to the Elvira blouse that you saw before but has a different collar that’s a bit more serious looking. The fabric is the same, very light, stretchy and comfortable. The combination of both pieces turns out really cool, perfect for a summer rooftop party!

So apparently in Sweden all names get their very own special day (uhmm United States:: what's going on here?) Today happens to be Per day, and for those of you who may not know Per is the boss guy around here. So we would love to wish all the Per's out there a very special Per Day!

The black Frida sleeveless blouse adds a cute and simple touch to the outfit.

Great for walking around during a sunny day and can totally be taken into the night!

Today we shot all product for the Spring/ Summer '13 lookbook. d.brand's U.S. President, Per, got in the mood and decided he could be the top model of them all, we have to say he's definitely pulling the look off!

Check it out! This one is more of a trendy career girl outfit. The black denim has a very cool touch with the zippers on the bottoms of each leg and the left back pocket.

Not only could you wear it for work as black pants, but also for a night out with a rock style top!

The Frida green sleeveless blouse is light and comfortable, the solid color is really nice. This piece is pretty much a great summer top that works with different bottoms.The Siri black jacket is such a cute piece that works perfectly with this outfit by giving it a more serious touch. Its fitted cut makes it very fashionable!

Hey this is Jess, I just moved to NYC from Paris and started working with d.brand! I’m really excited about the Spring/Summer 13 collection and will be sharing outfit ideas with you guys. Hope you like it!

Take a look at my outfit number 1!  This Elvira bright yellow blouse was a huge success at Project, it’s the piece that caught everyone’s eye! So comfortable, the light and stretchy fabric feels great, perfect for the summer. The black denim shorts are a ‘must have’ in your closet, you can dress them up or down, for a chill day or a crazy night out in the city!

Music to Rock to.. The Liza Colby Sound

If you are lucky enough to live in the city that never sleeps, we highly suggest checking out a band who is setting the city on fire, The Liza Colby Sound. The LZC is following up to a previously sold out show at Mercury Lounge (217 East Houston Street, NYC) on Wednesday, August 8th. The band says this will most likely be their last NYC show until the Fall. Trust us if you are into live music from a band who gives their absolute all and a hot as hell chick who can belt it and style it, this is a must see! Check out some photos below of the LZC in action at previous live shows.

The Future Looks Bright

Today we received a delivery of  more Spring/ Summer 2013 samples, and it's looking brighter than ever! Our design experts across the pond in Sweden have concocted up a "citrusesque" color story to light up any wardrobe. The pallet includes hues of reds, oranges, greens and yellows.. it makes us warm just looking at the samples.
