Redken Chromatics Launch Event

Last night we were invited to a Redken party for the launch of their new collection called Chromatics.

The shindig was held at the uber cool Gansevoort Hotel ( 420 Park Avenue) in Manhattan. Upon entry we were treated to amazing gift bags stashed with Redken products including one of my (Carrie's) personal fav's Pureology, who doesn't love a killer gift bag? Redken also wined and dined us with an open bar and passed hors d'oeuvre's included tuna tar tar on a crispy sliced cucumber, yum!

In NYC Tonight?

If you happen to be in NYC tonight be sure to come to Lit lounge (2nd Ave at 5th Street) for the 3rd addition of the When Worlds Collide music showcase. The event promises to get your juices flowin' offering eclectic sounds from bands ranging from hardcore to edgy pop.

d.brand Perfume Hits Sweden in a Big Way

d.brand recently launched it's first perfume collection for both men and women in Sweden. The launch went off with a huge (and we mean huge) launch event in Ahlens City store in Stockholm.  Nearly 8,000 d.brand fans (some of which did not event make it past the stores' front doors) were treated to a bevy of live performances by some of Sweden's top music makers of the moment. Musical acts include; Danny Saucedo, Vendela Palmgren, Sibel Redzep, Eddie Razaz, Lazee, Ms Trez, Mattias Holmgren, Roshana and Adam Tensta.

Sorry we haven't been posting as much as we normally do, however things are crazy busy over here at

d.brand and we haven't had much time to sit down and blog lately, our bad.

Last week we attended a Blackbook Magazine x Stoli Vodka event (Midnight Mixologists) at the brand spankin' new Ludlow Manor in Manhattan's Lower East Side. This place is amazing, if you haven't been I HIGHLY suggest getting over there are checking it out, probably one of the coolest hot spots in NYC at the moment!.. be careful not to fall into the fountain in the middle!

Guests were treated to specialty cocktails mixed up by top Stoli mixologists.. yummy!

LIGHT UP BKLYN

Last Thursday we attended Light Up BKLYN hosted by Join Bklyn with presenting sponsor Google New York at the Morgan Warehouse in Brooklyn. This was a free event with food and drink provided by local sponsors to celebrate all that is Brooklyn!

When we walked in all we could say was "Wowww..." it was pretty stunning. The lights were amazing with illuminated artwork adorning the walls.

Last night we had the pleasure of attending the Fall into Patron event at 230 Fifth Avenue. Upon arrival we were presented with a bevy of cocktails to chose from, most going with the Fall theme and infused with Pumpkin and spices.

Along with a Patron only bar serving Patron Silver, Gold and Cafe; available was the ultra exclusive Gran Patron Burdeos which comes in a super swanky leather case. The bartenders were fantastic  explaining all of the choices of tequila and which was best for your particular taste/ preference.

Patron's parent company was also debuting a new line of vodka they have been working on, the vodka was served in the form of a shot (we indulged in a few) in flavors we have never experienced before; including fig and ginger. We'll let you be the judge when the vodka hits retailers. Our choice was ginger!

We need to send a big thanks out to the people at Patron for the wide assortment of foods being passed. Trays were comprised of delicious bite size indulgences such mini pizza's, cheeseburger sliders, goat cheese on toasted baguette, etc. Amazing with a cocktail after a long day at the office!

d. brand announces our collaboration with new hotspot GunBar in the famed Meatpacking District in New York City. d. brand will outfit GunBar staff members in unique, one-of-a-kind designs. Launching its first collection in the United States for NY Fashion Week Spring/ Summer 2012, d. brand collaborated with GunBar in order to reach a new market of New York’s most fashionable and chic downtown crowd. The outfits will rotate seasonally as part of their on-going partnership.
