This weekend we stumbled across a must go to brunch spot in the West Village of NYC, Philip Marie located at 568 Hudson Street at 11th Street. Upon arrival we felt completely comfortable and almost at home with it's homey yet contemporary feel. Seating is located both in and outside (however make those reservations prior to going if you want to bask in the sun.) Hands down the food is amazing and comes in record time considering the spot is completely packed. The music is absolutely mood altering considering it takes you from everything from 80's to Portishead (we like.)
The crowd is awesome and after a couple adult breakfast beverages they will have you chatting with your neighbor. Of course we saved the best part for last... unlimited mimosa's or bloody Mary's (while you are eating) with the order of any menu platter for a completely reasonable $24.99! Glad we shared the news, we are sure. Now make those reservations for Philip Marie, we recommend Saturday morning and then popping over to Employees Only across the street for a mind blowing cocktail from one of their master mixologists!
