We don't know about you, but we are so ready to start shopping for Fall footwear! One of our favorite trends this season, wedge boots! Not only are they super easy to walk in, but they look amazing and work with every type of outfit especially d. brand denim!

It's Friday, and we know what's on your mind, where am I going this weekend?!? 

We have a place that may do the trick, Pine Box Rock Shop in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Exploring new places is what it's all about rather than only going to the "most talked about" or "hip for the minute hot spots." We don't feel Pine box fits into either of those categories. This place is laid back, but loud and the bar staff is incredibly humble and accommodating. The empanadas, let's talk about the empanadas.. we all need a little something something to eat while throwing back a few and Pine Box has got you covered, they offer a variety of 3 different empanadas to chose from; all of which are Vegan friendly, we suggest the Philly Cheese! Pine Box offers a full bar selection as well as specialty drinks with prices thats won't set you back on paying the rent either.

 Of course we always save the best for last.. Pine Box Rock Shop is doggy friendly, that's right no need to leave Fido at home on a Saturday afternoon, take him to the Box with you. Ask your bartender, they will have some tasty treats for your furry best friend as well.

Not only will we be in retail locations but we have strategic marketing plans of attack, which means you will be seeing us in your favorite print and online magazine as well as at some events you may attend.

What the Rain?!?!..

Mother Nature has been throwing NYC some serious periods of rain lately ... it's been raining almost every day for 2 weeks. I think we speak for most NY'ers when we say we are over it! However we must make the most of what she is throwing our way, at d. brand we feel just because the weather may be hateful does not mean your wardrobe has to be slackin'! We put together a few of our favorite not-so-fair-weathered fashion must haves to track the city in style, and still arrive at your destination not looking like you just stepped out of a human car wash.

May We Suggest...

This weekend we stumbled across a must go to brunch spot in the West Village of NYC, Philip Marie located at 568 Hudson Street at 11th Street. Upon arrival we felt completely comfortable and almost at home with it's homey yet contemporary feel. Seating is located both in and outside (however make those reservations prior to going if you want to bask in the sun.) Hands down the food is amazing and comes in record time considering the spot is completely packed. The music is absolutely mood altering considering it takes you from everything from 80's to Portishead (we like.)

The crowd is awesome and after a couple adult breakfast beverages they will have you chatting with your neighbor. Of course we saved the best part for last... unlimited mimosa's or bloody Mary's (while you are eating) with the order of any menu platter for a completely reasonable $24.99! Glad we shared the news, we are sure. Now make those reservations for Philip Marie, we recommend Saturday morning and then popping over to Employees Only across the street for a mind blowing cocktail from one of their master mixologists!

Brooklyn we go hard.

We are true believers that any given restroom (dirty or clean) presents a perfect photo opportunity!

It's a hot Friday night and Jen and Alex decide to hit Downtown Williamsburg, Brooklyn to check out some hot spots! First we hit a bar called The Woods; 48 S 4th Street . Good crowd, awesome drinks, danceable music, huge backyard... score!)
