d.brand, Established in Stockholm, Sweden 2006
d.brand was first developed as an alternative to overpriced designer jeans. d.brands philosophy is based on the fundamentals of; exclusivity, quality fashion-forward denim and affordability. Derived from this, d.brand was able to establish a segment all its' own. d.brand has grown from it's Swedish roots and has established itself in major fashion and economic hubs as New York City, USA (2011) and London, England (2009.)
Denim is the foundation of the brand and the division which still drives the engine. d.brand produces denim for both men and women, however the women's denim sector is credited for ultimately putting d.brand on the fashion map. In addition to denim, d.brand produces sportswear and outerwear for both men and women.
d.brand's US division is fully ran and operated by Per Magnusson. Since its US establishment, d.brand has been placed in upwards of 50 retail doors as well as gaining placement in top national publications such as People Stylewatch and Seventeen Magazine. d.brand US is currently moving into its second selling season with its Fall/ Winter 2012 collection, which will be landing in brick and mortar and online retailers in August of 2012.
