A Real American Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! (A little bit late)

Jen here! We had the most amazing time in Shelton, CT! When we told our lovely publicist Carrie that we've never celebrated Thanksgiving she invited us to celebrate with her family in Connecticut, to have the real "American family Thanksgiving"!

We decided to go there one day earlier so we could go out and see how they party in a small town.
We met up at Grand Central with Carrie and her lovely pug Jake!

When we finally got to the house we were greeted by three crazy cute pugs!

Dale - the cutest "marshmallow" in the world!

After cuddeling with the dogs and getting set up we decided to check out Walmart before black friday!
We let Carrie pick out our new Christmas clothes! What do you think?
They really have a good selection of Christmas cardigans

Prepared for Black friday and first in line! Only 8 hours left... PERFECT!

After our totally awesome trip to Walmart, we started to get ready for our night out!
When we were all dressed up we met in the kitchen for drinks.. to find out that all three of us were wearing all black! So Carrie, as the natural "leader" decided to put on a pink scarf!
We met up with her siblings and a couple of friends and after some drinks we were ready to hit the town!

First bar we went to was Porkies! Really classy place as you probably can tell by the name. Of course it was packed, but we had a great time!!

Me, Carrie and her brother Tom!

After an hour or so at Porkys we decided to check out the other hot spot this small town has to offer ?
By the time we got there the three siblings started to get into a real party mode! So they decided to hit the empty dance floor in the empty bar and dance!

After a while we all joined in and suddenly there was a big crowd on the dance floor.
With music such as Sir Mix Alots Baby's Got Back and some Black Eyed Peas nobody could stand still!

The morning after we all met up at the tv room for some Swamp People!
After an hour of watching people searching for cannibal alligators Carrie went up and made us breakfast! Eggs and blueberry pancakes.. Yummy!

Soon it was time for dinner! We had Turkey (fried and oh so good) stuffing, gravy, sweet potatoes, cranberries in different forms, cheeses and crackers, mashed potatoes and a fantastic sweet potatoes which Carries aunt made!

For dessert we had all kinds of pies and cakes that Carries mom made. Without doubt the best dessert I've had!

 THE TURKEY!

In the evening everybody was so full that we couldn't walk so everybody gathered in the tv room again for Elf.

After a lot of barking and running around the pugs passed out on the floor (together with and exhausted Carrie by their sides)

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM THE GIRLS AT THE d.brand SHOWROOM!
