The Swedes Keep it Sweet

Being an American and working for a Swedish company, you learn a lot about the culture. House music, and the hot blondes fail in comparison to the most important thing I believe the Swedes can go down in the history books for... the candy! Pretty much every other week we are into'ed to a new tastier than ever Swedish candy thanks to our amazing boss Per. We were living off of Daim chocolate for about a month straight (available at Ikea Food Market $4.49 per bag), this week we have moved in to Dumle (available at
Scandinavia House, NYC)... I think this may be my favorite as of yet, think Rolo candy with a punch. Swedish fish-type candies also come in a variety of shapes and flavors (coke bottles, lips, etc.)

Next time you are in IKEA pick up some candy rather than frozen meatballs (second thought, go for both.) If in NYC make sure to head to the Scandinavia House (58 Park Ave @ 38th Street.)
